Why are Women’s Circles needed now?

As a collective, I feel Women have moved so far away from the wisdom and natural laws stored innately in our flesh and bones. Getting caught up in our busy and nucleus lives, we’ve truly forgotten the nourishment that comes from connecting with other women. We have fallen into the trap of tending to everyone else before ourselves, neglecting our physical, mental, and spiritual health, almost as a form of self-sacrifice.

Life asks and gets “too much” when we are living for others rather than ourselves.

There is something however that stirs within each and every woman’s psyche- because this mode of living (if you can call it that) can only be sustained for so long.

What starts as a whisper, becomes a clear and distinct call to return and discover home. The journey inwards is to remember, rewrite and reconnect with ourselves.

It is often written about and described as the “return to the Wild women”. The woman who travels deep into her underworld and returns to her natural and innate rhythms and patterns.

The woman who retrieves her creativity, mystical and intuitive nature, who resides between worlds, softly held within feeling away from logic.

The Wild Woman trusts and knows herself deeply and is so full and restored from her soul realm that she can’t help but to overflow and radiate upon her return to the physical. She returns strong and full of vitality.

It is this knowledge that allows us to live a life that is deeply satisfying- not one we need to escape, wish or dream away. A conscious dance between tending to the physical and human aspects of our human lives, and balancing it carefully in flow with the deep desires, creativity, and wisdom held within the soul, and all the nourishment that it breathes into our bones.

This is why we need women’s circles.

Women are hearing the call- and they know when it’s time- it’s time.

Make no mistake- this is not necessarily a call to join a women’s circle but a call to return home, and somewhere deep inside of us we know and remember sitting and gathering amongst other women is one of the ways we can drop into this remembrance and discovery of our truest self.

We’ve been sold a lie about how we are supposed to live and go about our lives- and one of the beautiful ways we can tune into our wisdom and remembrance is by choosing to gather with other women.

Perhaps the greatest rebellion of our time is not just choosing ourselves as an act of self-love- but also each other.

Choosing to sit in a circle is an act of self-love, for the gift and nourishment you receive for yourself, but also the selfless love in giving, holding space, and compassion for a friend.

Ready to join our next circle and growing community of radiant and empowered women?

“Radiant- Women’s circles” are held in East Devon, in Topsham; welcoming ladies from the Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Exeter, Lympstone, Sidmouth, and Woodbury area- and further afield if you're happy to travel!

Hope to see you soon,

Rebecca
