How we use Breathwork to help you Heal.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Breathwork is a fairly new term on the wellness block but has its roots firmly in with the ancients. Yogis and shamans have been breathing intentionally for years and years- and our thinking is if it's been around for that long- it must be a good thing! In-fact we know it is!

Breathwork is going to be absolutely HUGE over the next coming years.

Why? Because it is powerful, simple, and transformative.

Breathwork is what we call a bottom up approach to healing. As in- we aren’t accessing healing from the mind, down to the body, but the opposite way; body up to the mind.

There are certain patterns to breathe in to achieve a certain feeling within the body.

This might be relaxation, energy, anxiety relief, trauma release and so on.

Breathing with intent and in a pattern manipulates physiological changes within the body. When this change is picked up by the brain it allows thoughts and behaviours to follow suit.

Motion really does change the E-motion.

The Breath is a direct telephone line with our bodies, and it is through this practice that we can begin to feel and move energy again.

Together we will work to support nervous system regulation, and widen our capacity for experiencing our feelings, as well as healing and integrating our past.

It isn’t just a tool for ending exhaustion, stress, and suffering, but something that can re-inspire our passion and zest for life and even guide us forward on our path.

Most importantly breathwork is a skill that you will be able to practice and use as part of your own self-care.
